In the hockey diagnostic training centers, HDTS puts special emphasis on the methodology of player training. This complex methodology, which includes a model of individual player preparation, was developed as a result of cooperation with leading European and world experts in the field of sports, biochemistry, physiology, sports nutrition, etc. In light of the constantly evolving trends in the world of hockey (and other sports as well), it is necessary to constantly update and supplement this method to keep up with the trends and needs and allow athletes to achieve their maximum in this fast changing environment.

What's new in athlete testing? What are the new trends and systems for determining the physical condition and coordination of athletes? HDTS representatives talked about this and other topics in this area during a visit to the BALUO application center - a modern sports laboratory of the Faculty of Physical Education of the Palacký University in Olomouc.

The BALUO sports center has top-notch equipment – the center has its own fully equipped gym, divided into different training zones, a swimming pool or a sports hall with sensors for detecting the players' movements. The center is also interesting in that it brought together various companies under one roof, which are dedicated to the development of sports diagnostics in completely different industries. In particular, the company "SportSenses", responsible for professional neurovisual diagnostics, is worth mentioning.

Neurovisual training is a new discipline in the training of athletes, which is based on the training of sensory perception and the connection of newly acquired skills with the athlete's biomechanics. Training of the neurovisual system leads to improved concentration, attention, increased speed and precision of movement during sports performance.

Neurovisual training helps athletes improve self-confidence and teamwork, which has a positive effect on the entire team.

In conclusion, it should be noted that the meetings were held to mutual satisfaction and the parties agreed on further cooperation in various areas, which we will inform you about in the future. All athletes will benefit from this cooperation, who will receive a complete and comprehensive overview of their condition, on the basis of which the trainers will compile suitable training plans for optimal and rapid improvement of key characteristics. In a global sense, such cooperation will further raise the level of training of athletes in Slovakia, in the Czech Republic, but we firmly believe that it will also improve abroad.
