HDC Relm Kingston is equipped with the latest hockey training technology, including advanced skating treadmills, synthetic ice shooting zones, and AI-powered Skating Analysis. This setup allows for truly individualized training plans and supports the overall growth of every player.
The center works hand-in-hand with the RELM Sports Academy, providing a complete development platform that combines skill training, physical conditioning, and academic support for athletes in Kingston and the surrounding region.
Ryan Thompson, owner of RELM Sports and Head of Hockey, highlighted: “We wanted to build a training center in Kingston that encouraged players to stay here, invite new players to train here, and build a pro experience. All the equipment and systems allow us to really dial in and create individual plans for all of our players.”
HDTS master coaches delivered a comprehensive training program for local staff, certifying HDC Relm Kingston as an official HDTS Educational Hub in North America. Now, new coaches can be trained and certified directly in Kingston.
Ryan also emphasized the collaborative nature of the partnership: “We created a customized plan that matched exactly what our training center needed. The relationship has been really great—very responsive and collaborative.”
And on support: “The equipment is soundly made, and all those pieces build towards great quality, product, and partnership we can rely on. It’s been a really positive example of how business, science, and coaches in the athletic world can work together to provide a great service and platform for our players.”
HDC Relm Kingston is set to become a central hub for hockey development, providing world-class resources and expertise to athletes, coaches, and families.
