Tonight, the real history of Slovak hockey has being made. The long-awaited draft-2022 brought incredible success for a small country in the heart of Europe. For the first time in the history of the NHL, two players from Slovakia were in the first two places of this prestigious ranking. Juraj Slafkovský has been drafted as number one to the Montreal Canadians, and as number two Šimon Nemec went to the New Jersey Devils. It is also worth noting that in the 1st round they chose the third Slovak player, Filip Mešár, also to Montreal.

We at HDTS closely followed the draft and are proud to celebrate this historic event for Slovakia. A country with a population of approximately 5.5 million, where there are only (if we compare it to Canada, for example, where one city has more registered players) about 8,000 registered hockey players, was represented by three young stars at once in the draft of the most prestigious league in the world.

This fact especially emphasizes our desire to work further on the development of player preparation system. We believe that, among other things, our methods and technologies used in the system of training hockey players in Slovakia played a role in achieving this outstanding result.

We look forward to successfully continuing our work in North America, where is incredible potential for development. We believe that the purposeful and correct application of the latest methodic and technologies will help improve the potential of young talents and discover new hockey stars to the world.
