A new step in AI-powered skating development, methodology support, and performance evaluation for hockey centers using HDTS technology<\/em><\/p>\n

In 2026, HDTS is expanding its partner support approach with a stronger focus on product development, methodology improvement, and education across hockey centers. This broader direction includes future product updates, knowledge-sharing formats, and new tools designed to help partners get more value from the HDTS ecosystem already installed in their facilities.<\/p>\n

One of the first key steps in this direction is the new AI Skating Analysis<\/a> \u2013 Acceleration module, developed for centers already using AI Skating Analysis Transactional Skating. The module works on the existing hardware infrastructure prepared for that system, including high-speed cameras, and adds a new layer of analysis focused on the most decisive moment on the ice: the first steps and the build-up of speed.<\/p>\n

Instead of looking only at final time, the Acceleration module evaluates the quality of the start through parameters such as leg stability, skate position, center of mass movement, leg and ankle extension, inner knee angle, and head direction. This gives coaches faster, more precise insight into where acceleration is created, where energy is lost, and how skating technique can be improved through more targeted development.<\/p>\n

The new module also expands evaluation with practical coaching benefits such as greater assessment accuracy, stride-based measurement, average-value benchmarking, result archiving, and comparison tools. It is designed as a natural extension of the HDTS environment, with compatibility across the wider system and continued development through project updates.
